I really like this story

I really like this story. It starts off with a woman walking on the beach with her dog... unfortunately the dog steals the pants of a man skinny-dipping and won't give them back. Later she finds out that the man has been hired for the same newspaper where she just accepted a job as editor. The man writes a food column and promptly labels here as 'Dragon Lady the editor' in his column who is 'snaggle-toothed, sulphur-breathing, fire-snorting apparition without a single redeeming feature'.
This would have gotten more stars but the kindle version is so full of typos it's unbelievable. Many times I or ! comes across as a '1' instead. Punctuation (especially quote marks). 'crushed die paper' instead of 'crushed the paper' or 'its a good tiling' instead of 'its a good thing' 'while I nip cut to ' instead of 'while I nip out to' and so forth. It's like they just scanned in the text and didn't bother to proofread it.

A good read

The Sugar Dragon was the first book I've read written by Victoria Gordon and I will be looking for others. A story line that was quite believable and had me wondering how all this would turn out at the end. I really enjoyed reading this book on my kindle.

Decent Book

Some of the Australian slang was a little hard to understand but, overall, it was a decent book, given the genre. It was good enough but not really different or special.
