Unless you know the artist and just want it for the sake of supporting them, which is fine too. Really though, this was an extremely short tutorial (I guess it would be since it's a chibi right?) and is nothing that couldn't be found for free online. The picture on the front was cute so decided to buy it, but have only looked through it once and didn't really see anything I wanted to go back and try.

Oh well, it's pretty cheap. If you like the image on front and want to know how to draw it, by all means, go for it! But if you are looking for something more in depth, there are probably better resources online.

nothing new here, rather this very brief eBook is a concise ( i.e. limited in scope and detail ) overview of how to draw chibi

all this is available elsewhere ( on hundreds of pages, in fact ) on the 'net, and in greater detail. videos as well, for those so inclined

my hope was to find some tips that were intuitive or obvious to those more talented than i. no such luck

easily a third of the pages are devoid of instruction, and are rather devoted to an index, references to other books, single chibi drawings ( similar to cover art ), and disclaimers

glad it was only a couple of bucks

Great Chibi Drawing Guide

I like drawing and enjoy trying new things. I've always been a little intimidated by Manga but Chibis seemed much simpler so I figured I would try out this guide. This book offers basic steps for drawing bodies and eyes of Chibis. Pretty cool. I was quickly (forgive my pun) drawn in. For this price it was well worth my money.

Did I buy this book? Yes
Would I read it again? I'd skim through again if I need to.
Would I recommend it? Yup

This book examines the policies of successive Indonesian governments to contain secessionist forces, focusing in particular on Jakarta's response towards the armed separatist movement in Aceh. Unlike other studies of separatism in Indonesia, this book concentrates on the responses of the central government rather than looking only at the separatist forces. It shows how successive governments have tried a wide range of approaches including military repression, offers of autonomy, peace talks and a combination of these. It discusses the lessons that have been learned from these different approaches and analyzes the impact of the tsunami, including the successful accommodation of former rebels within an Indonesian devolved state structure and the expanding implementation of Islamic law.

I love most all of John Sanford's books.... and always buy them on the first day they are available.

That said... the Singular Menace series.... Uncaged, Outrage, and Rampage... are a waste of my money.

I feel cheated when I get them home... it's the subject matter that I dislike.... science fiction is not my cup of tea.

Sorry John... I'm still looking forward to your next book.

A Different Slant for The Sanfords

The three full length books are really one 1,000 page novel. It is, of course, very important the they be read in sequence. It would be very hard to imagine that anyone could read the first one (Outrage) and not complete the next two. A completely new cast of Sanford characters are delightful in many ways, and he has plenty of time to fully develop them with that many pages. Great chance to discover a new side of the Sanford(s).

I am a John Sanford fan and this series did not disappoint in any way. While it is a series for young adults, it does not translate that way. The same excitement and pacing of the Prey books is present here. And without spoiling the ending, there is a perfect segue into the next book.

Great addition to the series!

Wonderful novella addition to the series! Fallon is in love with a werewolf. The problem is he isn't just any werewolf, he is the leader and so he has to have a werewolf mate...which Fallon is not. Her choice seems simple. Become a werewolf and spend her life with Aiden or leave. The problem is the deadline and the line of women/wolves waiting impatiently to take her place!
I was soooo happy to revisit the vampire/werewolf/witch world that Salidas has created in our own little world. Fallon's story while short, was great. There is tension, love, passion, sex (and plenty of it!), pain, betrayal. It is all here and I was super excited to catch back up with a few of the others from the series and see how they are doing. While her choice seems simple, Fallon has a lot to contend with to get to her goal and even Aiden doesn't understand how much is standing in her way.
If you haven't read the series before this book, I rate it a 4/5. You will still enjoy it but you need to read the whole series.
If you've read the series, it is absolutely a 5/5! I can't wait for more!

LOVED IT!!!

Thanks so much for letting me read this book, you are an awesome author, Once I started this book, I could not put it down, it was awesome, I had to keep reading to find out what happens next, Fallon is a human who has fallen in love with a werewolf, and she has to make a decision to become a wolf like her love. This is my favorite book of the immortal series. Make sure you get your copy:):)

Amazingly Outstanding!!!

From the first page I was hooked. It had action, romance, and suspense.....it is outstanding!

Fallon is a human who happened to fall in love with a werewolf named Aiden. But Aiden is not just any werewolf; he is the Alpha, the current leader of the Olde Town Pack. Fallon wants to be with Aiden no matter what but it's more complicated than most people think. In order to stay with Aiden Fallon will have to make the ultimate change.....she will have to change her species. Not only does she have to worry about the change and staying with Aiden, she also has a problem with earning the loyalty and respect of the pack, especially with the females. Conflicted with what she wants and what other's tell her she needs to do, Fallon will have to make a choice that will change her future forever.

When I first saw this book I thought it looked very interesting and it is something I would enjoy reading. I was really happy when I started reading it and found that I loved it!! The plot was really unique and fun to read. I've read a lot of werewolf books before but this novella goes beyond that, the characters Aiden and Fallon were such amazing characters. Aiden was strong, passionate, witty, and an outstanding leader. Let's not forget his awesome mate Fallon. I loved Fallon character immediately, she was easy to relate to and a very brave person. I found myself looking at how much of the book I had left to read and wishing that it would magically slow down because it was that awesome of a story. After I read this story I looked up the author to see if she had another story about Fallon and Aiden and was pleasantly surprised that this story was a companion novella for Salidas' Immortalis Series. I was excited that the author had other books I could read and I intend to buy some of her books now!! Katie Salidas is an amazing author, I am definitely a fan of her writing now. If you are looking for a gripping, exciting, action and romance filled book you should read this. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
